  • At least 50 Palestinians detained overnight across the West Bank, including Jerusalem, most of them former political prisoners.
  • Arrests in 2025 exceed 7,000 amid expanded field interrogations and home raids.

At least 50 Palestinians were detained during overnight raids carried out by 'Israeli' forces across the West Bank, including Jerusalem, according to the Palestinian Prisoners Club.

The detentions took place between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning and included the arrest of a former female political prisoner. The group said most of those detained had previously spent time in 'Israeli' prisons.

Ramallah focus, raids across multiple cities

The campaign was concentrated in Ramallah, while additional arrests and field interrogations were reported in Hebron, Tubas, Tulkarm, Nablus, Jenin, and Jerusalem.

The Prisoners Club said the raids were accompanied by widespread home invasions, abuse of detainees and their families, and extensive property destruction inside Palestinian homes.

Systematic field interrogations

The organization said occupation forces continue to rely on what it described as a systematic policy of field interrogations, targeting dozens of families during military incursions across all governorates.

These interrogations, often conducted inside homes or during neighborhood sweeps, have become a central tool alongside arrests, the group said.

Arrest numbers surge in 2025

More than 7,000 arrest cases have been recorded in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, since the start of 2025, according to the Prisoners Club.

Since the launch of the war on Gaza, the total number of arrest cases has reached about 21,000, a figure that does not include Palestinians detained from the Gaza Strip, where arrests are estimated to number in the thousands.

Human rights groups say the escalating arrest campaigns reflect a broader pattern of repression that has intensified alongside the ongoing aggression against Palestinians.
