Jordan’s Civil Defense Directorate reported a heavy operational workload over the past twenty-four hours, responding to thousands of emergency calls across the Kingdom while maintaining rapid response times.

According to official figures, medical emergencies accounted for the largest share of operations. Ambulance crews handled 1,465 cases, with an average response time of seven minutes and thirty-one seconds, reflecting the speed of paramedics in reaching patients and injured individuals.

Rescue teams also remained active, responding to 114 rescue incidents of various types. The average arrival time for these operations stood at seven minutes and thirty-three seconds.

Firefighting units extinguished 50 fires in different areas of the Kingdom. Response times matched those of rescue teams, enabling crews to contain the blazes quickly and prevent their spread.

The Civil Defense Directorate said the figures demonstrate the high level of readiness and efficiency of its personnel in dealing with emergencies under pressure.
