Jordan army strikes drug factories along northern border

The Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) “neutralized a number of arms and drug traffickers" who were organizing smuggling operations along the kingdom’s northern border, a statement by the JAF said on Wednesday. 

Jordan’s army “targeted and destroyed” several factories and workshops used by these groups as operational hubs for launching “illicit activities toward Jordanian territory,” it continued.

The sites were destroyed on “precise intelligence” and in “close coordination” with Jordan’s regional partners, the statement concluded.
