Queen Alia International Airport recorded strong growth in passenger and cargo traffic, according to statistical indicators released Sunday by the Airport International Group.

The airport handled 782,481 passengers in November, an increase of 25.8% compared with the same month in 2024, the group said in a statement.

Aircraft movements climbed to 6,846 flights, up 26.9% year on year. Air cargo posted modest growth of 2.0% to reach 6,164 tons.

Year-to-date performance

On an annual basis, the airport welcomed 8,921,229 passengers over the first 11 months of 2025, marking a 10.3% rise from the same period last year.

Aircraft movements increased by 8.5% to 73,249, while air cargo declined by 8.0% to 64,237 tons.

Executive comments

Airport International Group Chief Executive Officer Nicolas Devillier said the sustained growth reflects the airport’s strong regional position.

“Each milestone achieved at Queen Alia International Airport is a testament to the trust travelers place in Jordan’s main air gateway”, he said, praising staff and partners for delivering a smooth travel experience.

The figures place the airport on track to approach nine million passengers for the full year, underscoring a continued recovery in regional air travel.
