The latest weather forecasts from ArabiaWeather indicate that Jordan will experience weather fluctuations on Saturday.

While a slight rise in temperatures is expected, dense fog will form during the late-night and early morning hours.

Widespread Fog and Reduced Visibility

Forecasters expect fog to develop late Friday night and persist through Saturday morning across extensive areas, specifically targeting the Eastern Plains.

The phenomenon is expected to affect the plains of Mafraq and Zarqa, as well as the eastern and southern regions of Amman and Madaba.

These areas are critical for transit as they encompass international desert highways and the Queen Alia International Airport vicinity.

Meteorologists warn drivers and travelers to exercise caution due to a significant decrease in visibility. The fog in these regions is caused by the rapid cooling of air following calm winds after midnight.

Daytime Conditions and Overnight Chills

During the daylight hours, temperatures are projected to rise slightly, reaching annual averages for this time of year or slightly above.

The weather will remain generally cool across most regions, with clouds appearing at various altitudes. Winds are expected to be light and variable, shifting to southeasterly.

As night falls, conditions will turn cold to extremely cold, especially in the mountainous highlands and the Badia (desert) regions.

There is a renewed possibility of fog formation once again in parts of the Eastern Plains during the late-night hours.
