Temperatures across Jordan are expected to edge up slightly on Saturday, though relatively cold conditions will continue across most parts of the Kingdom, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.

The department said moderate weather will prevail in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, while colder conditions dominate elsewhere. In its daily report, the JMD warned of low horizontal visibility during the early morning hours, particularly in mountainous regions, due to fog formation.

The JMD also cautioned against the possibility of frost developing late at night over high-altitude areas and in desert regions, urging residents to take necessary precautions.

Outlook for the coming days
Weather conditions are expected to remain largely unchanged on Sunday, with relatively cold temperatures forecast across most areas. Fair weather will continue in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

On Monday, temperatures are forecast to rise slightly, with overall conditions remaining similar to those of the previous day.

In the capital, Amman, temperatures on Saturday are expected to range between 16°C during the day and 8°C at night. Aqaba will see milder conditions, with highs reaching 22°C and lows dropping to 12°C overnight.
