Jordan has not received any “formal decision from Israel regarding the water supply agreement” between the two, a Jordanian official told Roya on Wednesday.

The statement comes as Hebrew news outlets, including newspaper Maariv, quoted ‘Israeli’ authorities claiming they had informed Jordan of "no intention of delivering the agreed-upon water quota."

According to the Hebrew newspaper, ‘Israeli’ officials claim that the issue revolves around "technical aspects related to the water and pricing."

In contrast, the Ministry of Water in Jordan asserts that the reason for the delay is not for technical reasons.

Maariv also claimed that Jordan had previously expressed readiness to negotiate the water pricing, but ‘Israel’ did not respond to that offer.
