Early Wednesday, Israeli Occupation Forces launched extensive raids across multiple cities and towns in the West Bank, detaining dozens of Palestinians.

Operations targeted Nablus and Salfit in the north, Al-Eizariya and Abu Dis east of occupied Jerusalem, Silwad and Deir Jarir east of Ramallah, and Jericho.

In Nablus, approximately 30 Palestinians, mostly former detainees, were arrested during house searches, with some later released. Around 24 individuals, including former detainees, were arrested in Silwad and Deir Jarir, while 14 were taken in Jericho. In Al-Eizariya and Abu Dis, nearly 20 residents were detained, and 'Israeli' forces converted the Abu Dis Youth Club into a temporary interrogation center after destroying its contents.

In Salfit, at least 10 people were arrested, and dozens of homes, including that of Mayor Abdel Karim Fattash, were ransacked. In Jenin, former prisoner Muhammad Al-Arida, one of the six involved in the 2021 “Gilboa Prison Escape,” was detained following a violent raid on his home in Arraba.

'Israeli' forces continue daily West Bank raids, including arrests and house searches. Over the past two years, more than 21,000 Palestinians have been detained, with over 9,000 currently held in 'Israeli' prisons.
