The decision is based on Article 5 of the Law on Military Service and Reserve Service and comes as part of preparations to implement the program beginning in early February 2026.
Drafting procedure and implementation plan
The Cabinet also approved the procedures for summoning eligible individuals born in 2007. Recruits will be called in batches through an electronic lottery system.
This announcement is part of the implementation of a program previously reactivated by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.
