  • Gaza reports 535 alleged 'Israeli' ceasefire violations as casualties rise and urgent medical evacuations await.

The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip announced that it has documented 535 violations allegedly committed by 'Israel' since the ceasefire agreement came into effect last month.

According to the office, these incidents have resulted in the deaths of 350 people and left approximately 900 others injured.

In one of the latest reported violations, three individuals were injured when a drone strike targeted them inside the “yellow line” area of the town of al-Qarara, northeast of Khan Younis.

On the humanitarian and medical front, Munir al-Bursh, Director-General of the Gaza Ministry of Health, said in press statements on Friday that the sector currently has around 22,000 patients whose cases have been reviewed by specialized committees responsible for coordinating medical referrals abroad. These committees operate jointly with the World Health Organization (WHO).

Al-Bursh noted that 18,100 patients have been approved for treatment outside the enclave and have all received the official “Form No. 1,” the document required to proceed with medical referrals.

Among those approved are approximately 5,000 cancer patients, 7,000 wounded individuals, and 500 children, he added.

The health official stressed that the files of all these patients are documented and have been submitted to the United Nations, emphasizing that the WHO has confirmed their eligibility for medical care abroad. He said this underscores the urgent need to facilitate their immediate departure to receive essential treatment.
