Gal Gadot has signaled she is open to returning to Disney for a sequel or spinoff to Snow White, despite the live-action remake’s disappointing performance earlier this year.

The 40-year-old actress told Us Weekly she would “love” to reprise her role as the Evil Queen after starring opposite Rachel Zegler, 24.
“I would love to do that. Yes. Tell Disney CEO Bob Iger. Bob, I’ll do that,” she said at the Women’s Guild Cedars-Sinai Snow Ball Gala in Beverly Hills, where she received the Hollywood Icon Award.

Disney’s Snow White, directed by Marc Webb and originally slated for a 2025 release before delays, faced controversy long before its premiere. The project became a lightning rod on social media over creative changes to the 1937 animated classic, casting debates, and speculation about political tensions between Gadot, who is 'Israeli', and co-star Zegler during the press tour.

The film ultimately underperformed at the box office and drew harsh reviews, earning a 39 percent “Rotten” score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Gadot has previously spoken about the mixed reception but maintained she enjoyed portraying the iconic villain. Her latest comments suggest she remains enthusiastic about returning to the role, even as analysts note Disney appears unlikely to revisit the property soon.

Following her remarks, reactions on social media were swift. Some users mocked the idea of a sequel or spinoff, with one post reading:
“Gal Gadot out here campaigning harder for an Evil Queen spinoff than Disney did for the actual Snow White movie.”

Another wrote:
“Gal Gadot unfortunately reveals that she would love to return as the Evil Queen in a new spin-off film. ‘Tell Bob [Iger],’ she says.”

A third commenter was more blunt:
“Hi Gal Gadot, nobody is telling Bob Iger that they want an Evil Queen spinoff, and you’ll never get one. :)”
