The Prisoners’ Media Office, in a statement issued by Hamas on Sunday, announced that the Palestinian resistance has received a list of 1,468 political prisoners from Gaza, handed over by ‘Israel’ through intermediaries.
This step is part of the ongoing ceasefire agreement and the prisoner exchange deal, which includes information sharing between the two sides.

The office noted that the list, which had been under review for more than a month, was carefully verified with the relevant authorities. However, the status of 11 names is still being investigated.
Hamas said delays in the official announcement were caused by “several obstacles,” including “stalling and manipulation by Israel over some names.” Despite this, the office decided to release the list on its official platforms following extensive verification efforts.
The statement held ‘Israel’ fully responsible for the lives of all detainees and for any errors or manipulation in the list. It also stated that additional political prisoners are still being held secretly in ‘Israel’’s jails and detention centers, and their identities remain undisclosed.
Hamas emphasized that efforts continue around the clock to determine the status of all prisoners. The Prisoners’ Media Office also called on intermediaries to “apply pressure on Israel to reveal the whereabouts of all detainees” and demanded guarantees for their health and human rights, as well as an end to violations of international law and norms.
