‘Israeli’ police have arrested three men from Netanya on suspicion of raping a 29-year-old American tourist in Tel Aviv, reports from Hebrew media said.

The incident reportedly occurred on November 1, 2025, after the suspects met the woman at a local nightclub and proceeded to a hotel, where non-consensual sexual acts are said to have taken place.

The suspects, all in their 20s, include two current football players from ‘Israel's’ National League (second division) and Liga Alef (third division), along with another individual linked to the sport, possibly a former player.

Their identities have not been publicly disclosed, in line with standard procedures for such cases.

According to reports, the victim filed a complaint shortly after the event. Detectives from the Sharet police station in Tel Aviv, assisted by Border Police officers, identified and apprehended the men based on the tourist's account and supporting evidence.

The arrests were made around November 10, 2025, and the suspects were interrogated at the Sharet station. Police have not released further details on the evidence.
