The Jordanian national football team wrapped up its final technical and physical training session in Amman on Tuesday evening as preparations continue for an overseas training camp in Tunisia.

The camp will feature two friendly matches against Tunisia and Mali, ahead of the 2025 FIFA Arab Cup and Jordan’s historic debut in the 2026 World Cup finals.

The session, held at Amman International Stadium under Moroccan coach Jamal Sellami, included all players except Nizar Al-Rashdan, who will join the squad later due to a mild case of the flu.

 

- Upcoming Tunisia camp -

The team will depart for Tunisia on Wednesday, November 12, for a training camp that includes:

A friendly against Tunisia on Friday, November 14.

A friendly against Mali on Tuesday, November 18.

These matches will allow the coaching staff to evaluate players, test tactics, and prepare the squad for upcoming international competitions.

The Jordanian Football Association emphasized that these preparations are critical for achieving top-level performance as Jordan becomes the first Arab nation to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
