The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned the two attacks that occurred in Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad, and in the city of Wana in South Waziristan, which resulted in multiple deaths and injuries.

Ministry spokesperson Sufyan Al-Majali reaffirmed Jordan’s full solidarity with Pakistan in these tragic incidents and its firm rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at undermining security and stability.

He also extended the Kingdom’s deepest condolences to the government and people of Pakistan, as well as to the victims’ families, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

A suicide bombing outside district court buildings in a residential area of the Pakistani capital killed 12 people and wounded 27 on Tuesday, the interior minister said.

"At 12:39 pm (0739 GMT), a suicide attack was carried out at the Kachehri (district courts)... so far 12 people have been martyred and around 27 are wounded," Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi told reporters at the scene of the incident.
