- Hamas says it fully complied with the ceasefire terms, including handing over 20 'Israeli' captives alive within 72 hours.
- The movement accuses 'Israel' of killing 271 Palestinians, mostly civilians, since the agreement began.
- Hamas calls on mediators and international bodies to pressure 'Israel' into honoring the deal.
Hamas issued a detailed 4-page statement on Sunday, accusing the Israeli Occupation of systematically violating the terms of the ceasefire agreement signed in Sharm El-Sheikh one month ago.
In its statement, Hamas began by expressing appreciation to mediators, international organizations, and “the free people of the world” who opposed what it called the “genocide carried out by the occupation against our people in Gaza.” The movement credited these efforts for achieving the ceasefire, but warned that 'Israel’s' “repeated breaches threaten to collapse the agreement.”
According to the group, Hamas and other resistance factions have upheld their obligations “completely, accurately, and in good faith.” The statement notes that 20 'Israeli' captives were released alive within 72 hours, and that the group “continued daily coordination with mediators and the International Committee of the Red Cross” in searching for the remains of deceased captives despite “extremely difficult field conditions.”
Hamas said it managed to recover 24 out of 28 bodies, and had provided coordinates for additional remains in areas controlled by 'Israeli' forces.
“Hamas has left no pretext unaddressed, affirming through its actions and facts on the ground its full commitment to both the letter and spirit of the agreement,” the statement read.
- 'Israeli' violations -
Hamas accused 'Israel' of undermining the ceasefire “daily and deliberately.” It said 'Israeli' forces have killed 271 Palestinians, 91 percent of them civilians, and injured 622 others, most of them women, children, and elderly people.
The statement also cited 35 arrests, ongoing demolition of homes, and 'Israeli' forces crossing beyond the agreed withdrawal line by up to 33 square kilometers, in addition to installing military fortifications hundreds of meters inside Gaza.
Hamas further accused 'Israel' of blocking over 6,000 UNRWA aid shipments, allowing only 40 percent of the agreed humanitarian trucks to enter the Strip, and restricting food, fuel, and shelter supplies. “Only one truck of eggs entered Gaza in 31 days,” the group said, describing the policy as “deliberate economic strangulation.”
The movement added that 'Israel' has failed to restart Gaza’s power plant, blocked reconstruction materials, and kept the Rafah crossing closed despite the agreement to reopen it on October 20, 2025.
It also condemned 'Israeli' leaders’ public statements calling for the resumption of war, noting that “the Israeli cabinet’s decision to rename the war as the ‘War of Resurrection’ reflects its intention to continue aggression.”
Hamas accused 'Israeli' forces of “mutilating the bodies of Palestinian martyrs” and said that 1,800 people remain missing from Gaza. The group highlighted the continued detention of nurse Tasneem Marwan Al-Hums, among others.
- Demands and call to action -
Reaffirming its commitment to the Sharm El-Sheikh ceasefire and “its moral and humanitarian obligations,” Hamas held 'Israel' “fully responsible for the ongoing breaches.”
The movement called on mediators, guarantor states, and international organizations to take immediate action to ensure:
- Full adherence to the ceasefire agreement.
- An end to killings and violations in Gaza.
- Withdrawal to the agreed temporary line.
- Free flow of aid and fuel at agreed quantities.
- Unrestricted operation of UNRWA.
- Reopening of the Rafah and Zikim crossings.
- Entry of 300,000 tents for winter shelter.
- Lifting restrictions on reconstruction and electricity generation.
- Disclosure of all missing persons and detainees’ fates.
“The international community must act urgently and decisively to compel the occupation to end its aggression, lift the blockade, and ensure the Palestinian people’s rights to security, freedom, and dignity,” the statement concluded.
