After Hamas recovered the body of an 'Israeli' captive in Gaza, a senior source in the Al-Qassam Brigades revealed additional details, confirming that the remains of six Palestinian martyrs were recovered from the same location where the body of ‘Israeli’ Lt. Hadar Goldin was found in Rafah.
The statement, issued a few hours after Al-Qassam officially announced locating and retrieving Goldin’s body, adds new information to one of the most sensitive files in indirect negotiations between Hamas and 'Israel' over the years. Goldin went missing in Rafah in 2014.

According to the Al-Qassam source, the excavation at the Rafah site not only uncovered Goldin’s body but also revealed the remains of six Palestinians buried at the same spot. No further details were provided about their identities or the circumstances of their deaths.
Goldin’s remains are among five bodies of 'Israeli' soldiers still held in Gaza, the source said, adding that search operations continue in Khan Younis and around Rafah. He noted that there is still no precise information about the other four.
On Friday, 'Israel' received the body of Sergeant Lior Rodav, who had been held by the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement.
