The Royal Film Commission (RFC) highlighted today Jordan’s local talent which was put into filming the reality singing competition The Voice.

“The large-scale production provided significant opportunities and demonstrated the expertise of local professionals across various sectors,” it said in a statement.

The RFC said that more than 350 Jordanians contributed their expertise in support and logistics roles, with 11,000 hotel rooms accommodating visitors, participants, and the entire production crew.

Thousands of meals daily were provided to participants through entirely local catering.

The Voice 

Earlier in August, MBC Group, the largest media network in the Middle East and North Africa, began filming the new seasons of the hit singing competitions The Voice and The Voice Kids at Olivewood Studios in Jordan.

Roya Media Group is participating in the production, providing cameramen, sound engineers, lighting technicians.

The production is now entering its fourth consecutive month.

According to the Commission, Jordan was chosen after years of effort to position the Kingdom as a hub for high-quality television and film production, strengthening its role as a cultural and creative center in the Arab world.

The large-scale project spotlighted local talent while boosting Jordan’s creative industries.

It also involved contracts with 16 Jordanian companies providing logistics and technical services.

Scenes will be shot at 10 diverse outdoor locations across the Kingdom, giving millions of MBC viewers a chance to experience Jordan’s beauty. Previous seasons of The Voice in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia attracted more than 100 million viewers.
