Jordanian army thwarts attempted border infiltration from the north

The Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army announced that the Jordanian Northern Command successfully foiled an infiltration attempt on its northern front on Tuesday.

In an official statement, the army said its personnel detected a person attempting to cross the border illegally from the northern side. The rules of engagement were applied immediately, leading to the arrest of the individual.

The suspect was subsequently transferred to the relevant authorities for further investigation.

The army reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding the Kingdom’s borders and preventing any attempts to compromise national security, stressing that it will respond firmly to any illegal activities or border violations.
