Warm days, cool nights: Temperature swings continue across kingdom

The regional Arabia Weather center reported that the Kingdom is expected to experience stable weather conditions in the coming days, due to the influence of a high-pressure system extending over the northern parts of the Arabian Peninsula.

Despite this general stability, meteorologists noted that the weather will be characterized by significant fluctuations in temperature from day to day, as well as sharp contrasts between daytime and nighttime temperatures, conditions that may increase the likelihood of seasonal colds.

According to Arabia Weather, temperatures are forecast to remain near their seasonal averages on Sunday and Monday, with overall mild to moderate conditions prevailing. By midweek, however, daytime temperatures are expected to rise above normal levels, bringing relatively warm weather, particularly during the afternoon hours.

At night, cooler conditions will continue to dominate across most regions. Forecasts indicate that nights will remain relatively cold, especially in highland areas and the eastern plains. Residents are therefore advised to wear warm clothing when going outdoors late at night or during early morning hours.

The center also cautioned that these marked temperature shifts, between mild daytime warmth and cool nighttime air — could heighten the risk of seasonal illnesses such as the common cold and flu.

To reduce the risk of such ailments, Arabia Weather recommended wearing appropriate clothing for the changing conditions, maintaining a balanced diet, and drinking plenty of fluids to support the immune system.
