Pakistan, Afghanistan agree to “immediate ceasefire”: Qatar

19-10-2025 02:17|Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed to an "immediate" truce at Doha-mediated talks, Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Sunday, after at least 10 people were killed in Pakistani airstrikes following an earlier truce.
"During the negotiations, the two sides agreed to an immediate ceasefire and the establishment of mechanisms to consolidate lasting peace and stability between the two countries," the Qatari ministry said in a statement.
