Statement regarding rumors about Abu Obaida’s fate from resistance security forces

The Gaza resistance security forces in Gaza issued a statement Thursday evening warning against circulating rumors regarding the fate of the Al-Qassam Brigades’ military spokesperson, Abu Obaida.

The statement said that the security body had monitored the spread of conflicting rumors, some suggesting an imminent appearance of Abu Obaida, and others hinting at an upcoming announcement of his death.

The Gaza resistance security forces emphasized that circulating such rumors “is linked to security and morale objectives that could harm the Resistance at this time.”

The statement also called on the public and media to “adopt the official position of the Resistance regarding Abu Obaida’s fate and avoid any speculation or interpretation whatsoever,” highlighting the need to rely solely on official channels of the Palestinian Resistance and avoid following unverified information.
