VIDEO: “We will be going to Egypt for an additional signing regarding Gaza ceasefire”, says Trump
US President Donald Trump said Thursday he would try to go to Egypt for the signing of a Gaza ceasefire and captives release deal between 'Israel' and Hamas.
"I'm going to try and make a trip over. We're going to try and get over there, and we're working on the timing, the exact timing," Trump said at a cabinet meeting.
In a brief statement, Trump said the visit aims to solidify agreements reached to halt hostilities in Gaza. He also highlighted plans for reconstruction, saying:
“Gaza will be rebuilt, and we will see many tremendous countries stepping up to help,” Trump said regarding plans for Gaza’s reconstruction.
Trump also provided an update on the status of 'Israeli' captives, saying they are expected to be released on Monday or Tuesday.
