Jordan's Northern Command foils illegal border crossing attempt

The Northern Command announced on Saturday that it successfully thwarted an attempt by an individual to cross its northern borders illegally.

According to military sources, the person tried to infiltrate the area under the region’s responsibility, prompting the application of standard rules of engagement.

The individual was apprehended on the spot and subsequently handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation and legal action.
