'Israel' announces plans to deport flotilla activists to European countries

The 'Israeli' foreign ministry announced Thursday that pro-Palestinian activists aboard vessels from the Global Sumud Flotilla, intercepted by 'Israeli' naval forces, will be deported to European countries.

“Hamas-Sumud passengers on their yachts are making their way safely and peacefully to Israel, where their deportation procedures to Europe will begin. The passengers are safe and in good health,” the ministry said on X, following the interception of several flotilla vessels attempting to reach Gaza.

The activists, who are part of an international effort to deliver essential supplies to Gaza, have faced repeated obstacles from 'Israeli' forces during previous attempts. Their supporters argue that such actions violate international humanitarian norms and prevent aid from reaching those in urgent need.

The flotilla continues its journey despite the threat of interception and deportation.
