‘Israeli’ Navy intercepts Gaza-bound Sumud flotilla
The ‘Israeli’ navy on Wednesday intercepted several vessels of a Gaza-bound aid flotilla that was approaching the Gaza Strip.
The ‘Israeli’ Foreign Ministry claimed the passengers, including Swedish activist Greta Thunberg, are safe and are being transferred to an Israeli port.
The Foreign Ministry posted a video on X showing Thunberg gathering personal items, surrounded by armed men.
The ministry's post said, "Several ships of the... flotilla have been stopped and their passengers are being transferred to an Israeli port. Greta and her friends are safe and healthy."
However, organizers of the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) reported a loss of live streams and communication with several boats.
They called the interception an "illegal attack against unarmed humanitarians" and urged "governments, world leaders, and international institutions to demand the safety and release of all" participants.
The Global Endurance Flotilla, which departed from Spain in early September, consists of about 45 ships and hundreds of activists from more than 40 countries. The ships are carrying medical supplies, dry food, and school materials, and their mission, according to organizers, is "peaceful and non-violent."

Sumud flotilla says 13 boats intercepted by ‘Israeli’ forces so far
The Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) said that 13 boats have been intercepted by the ‘Israeli’ Navy so far.
“30 boats still sailing strong on their way to Gaza, just 46 nautical miles away, despite the incessant aggressions from the Israeli occupation navy,” the GSF said in its latest update.
