‘Israeli’ President hints at possible corruption pardon for Netanyahu
‘Israeli’ President Isaac Herzog said he would consider granting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a presidential pardon in his corruption cases, describing the charges as “weighing heavily on Israeli society,” Hebrew media reported.
This statement comes as Netanyahu’s trial continues on charges of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust in three separate criminal cases.

Herzog explained that if an official request for a pardon were submitted, he would review it carefully.
“If there is a request or any process, I will divulge this to the public with full transparency,” the president said. “I will consider what’s best for the state and all other considerations.”
Netanyahu continues to deny all allegations against him, claiming the charges are politically motivated and fabricated by the police and state prosecutors.
