Last photo of Hassan Nasrallah released by Lebanese media
Lebanon’s Al Mayadeen TV channel has published what it says is the last known photo of Hezbollah's former Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah.
The photo, which was reportedly taken inside the "operations room of the resistance leadership" a few days before he was killed, also shows Muhammad Habib Khair al-Din (Hajj Hassan), identified as the secretary of the Jihad Council.
Hassan Nasrallah, who led Hezbollah for 32 years, was assassinated in the ‘Israeli’ Air Force attack on the group’s headquarters in Beirut’s southern suburbs on Sept. 27, 2024.
The strike was carried out using bunker-buster bombs and destroyed an entire block of residential buildings under which the underground command center was located.
The attack killed dozens of people, including several senior Hezbollah and Iranian commanders, marking one of the most significant blows to the organization's leadership.
