The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) has forecast that temperatures on Thursday will drop 3-4 degrees Celsius below seasonal averages, bringing mild and unstable weather across most regions, while the desert, Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba are expected to remain moderately warm. Clouds will form at various altitudes throughout the day.

Rain showers are predicted over parts of northern and central Jordan, occasionally spreading to eastern and southwestern areas. Some northern and eastern regions may experience thunderstorms. Northwesterly winds are expected to be active, with strong gusts raising dust, particularly in desert areas.

On Friday, temperatures are expected to rise slightly, with mild autumn-like conditions across much of the country and relatively hot weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Clouds will continue to appear at varying altitudes, and northwesterly winds will remain moderate to active, occasionally dusty in desert areas.

Saturday will see another slight increase in temperatures, maintaining mild conditions over most regions while the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba experience hot weather. Westerly winds will be moderate.

By Sunday, temperatures are forecast to climb further, slightly exceeding seasonal averages. Weather is expected to be moderate in the highlands and plains, and hot across the desert, Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Southeasterly winds will prevail during the day, shifting to westerly in the evening.

Thursday’s detailed forecast includes highs of 26°C and lows of 16°C in eastern Amman, and 24°C and 14°C in western Amman. The northern highlands will see temperatures between 22°C and 14°C, while the Sharah highlands will record 21°C and 12°C.

Desert regions are expected to reach 30°C with lows of 15°C, plains 26°C and 15°C, northern Jordan Valley 33°C and 21°C, southern Jordan Valley 35°C and 25°C, and both the Dead Sea and Aqaba 34°C and 24°C.
