Amman forecasts sharp temperature drop, shift to autumn by week's end

Amman is expected to experience significant temperature fluctuations over the next four days, with relatively hot weather peaking on Tuesday before a sharp decline brings a noticeable shift to moderate, autumn-like conditions by the end of the week.

Hottest Day on Tuesday

On Monday, the weather will be clear and sunny with relatively hot, summer-like conditions. The high is expected to be 31 degrees Celsius (88 F), with a warm night and a low of 21 C (70 F).

On Tuesday, a temporary increase in temperatures will make it the hottest day of the week. The high will reach 33 C (91 F), with mostly clear skies during the day and a low of 19 C (66 F) at night.

Autumn Weather Arrives

A sharp weather shift will occur on Wednesday, with a significant drop in temperatures. The high is expected to fall by about 6 C (11 F) to 27 C (81 F). The weather will become mild and partly cloudy, with a low of 17 C (63 F) at night.

The temperature drop will continue on Thursday, falling below seasonal averages as autumn weather becomes more distinct. The high in Amman will not exceed 23 C (73 F), with a low of 17 C (63 F) and a mostly cloudy sky.
