King praises Portuguese President for recognition of Palestine in New York

His Majesty King Abdullah II met with Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa in New York, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein.

During the meeting, King Abdullah commended Portugal’s recent decision to recognize the State of Palestine, stressing the importance of such steps in supporting the Palestinian people’s legitimate rights and advancing prospects for peace.
