Amid growing controversy over the recent 'Israeli' strike on Hamas leaders in Doha, the office of 'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has insisted that the operation was “entirely independent” and “fully Israeli,” according to a post on the social media platform X.

The statement adds to the ongoing debate over whether the attack was coordinated with the United States. Earlier reports from Axios, citing seven 'Israeli' officials, indicated that Netanyahu informed US President Donald Trump in advance of the strike, giving Washington a window of opportunity to cancel or object to the operation.

This account directly contradicts the White House’s position, which has maintained that it only learned of the strike after missiles were already in the air, leaving Trump no chance to intervene.

Despite Trump denying prior knowledge and expressing disapproval of the attack, the 'Israeli' officials’ statements have intensified questions regarding the level of communication and coordination between the two allies.
