'Israeli' army announced Thursday that it had struck what it described as infrastructure used for the production and storage of strategic weapons belonging to Hezbollah in the Bekaa Valley, southern Lebanon.

In a statement, the army said it targeted “infrastructure at a site used for producing and storing Hezbollah strategic weapons in the Lebanese Bekaa region.”

It added that another Hezbollah-linked site was also struck in the town of Zrariyeh, southern Lebanon.

The army claimed that the existence of such infrastructure violates understandings between Tel Aviv and Lebanon, stressing that it “will continue to act to remove any threat.”
