Social media reactions point fingers at Mossad for Kirk assassination

Speculation over the assassin of Charlie Kirk has spread across social media, with many alleging that Mossad, the ‘Israeli’ Institute for Intelligence and Special Operations, was behind the killing as the manhunt proceeds.

Security officials are still searching for the shooter, after two suspects were briefly taken into custody but released when investigators found “no current ties to the shooting.”

One man, George Zinn, was charged with obstruction of justice and released; the second suspect was freed without charges.

“There is an ongoing investigation and manhunt for the shooter,” the Utah Department of Public Safety said in a statement Wednesday night.

Authorities said a lone gunman fired a single shot from a nearby rooftop, striking Kirk in the neck as he spoke at an outdoor student event.

Kirk, a right-wing activist and founder of Turning Point USA, had an outsized influence on US politics, helping popularize Trump among young voters.
