Gaza death toll hits 64,656

The ongoing ‘Israeli’ offensive in Gaza has brought the death toll to a total of 64,656, with 163,503 others injured, the enclave’s health ministry reported today.

In the past 24 hours, Gaza’s hospitals received 41 martyrs and 184 wounded, including 12 killed while waiting for aid and 30 injured.

During that period, the ministry said that five more people starved to death, with one child due to the ‘Israeli’-made famine. 

A ministry official warned of Gaza’s crippling health system yesterday, stressing that the catastrophe is pushing hundreds of thousands of besieged residents to the brink, and calling for the immediate opening of humanitarian corridors.
