"We’ll get them next time:" 'Israeli' envoy about Hamas leaders

'Israeli' Ambassador to the United States Yechiel Leiter said he hoped 'Israel’s' strike on Hamas leaders in Doha would help push forward efforts to reach a ceasefire and a peace agreement.

Speaking to Fox News’ Special Report on Tuesday, Leiter said, “Our hope is that this strike will actually advance the efforts for a ceasefire and peace.”

Asked whether 'Israel' had succeeded in hitting Hamas’s top leadership in the attack, Leiter replied, “If we didn’t get them this time, we’ll get them the next time.”

The 'Israeli' military announced it had targeted Hamas leadership in the Qatari capital on Tuesday, while Qatari officials said the strike hit residential compounds where members of the group’s political bureau were living.
