Hamas issues stern warning to 'Israeli' army
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, issued a stern warning to the 'Israeli' army on Wednesday, stressing that any decision to expand ground operations in Gaza City will be met with a harsh response and exact a heavy toll on both its soldiers and captives.
The warning came in a video released by the brigades in both Arabic and Hebrew, featuring footage of captives held in Gaza. The message was aimed at intensifying pressure on the political and military leadership of the Israeli Occupation.

Escalation on the ground
In the video, Al-Qassam declared: “Urgent warning… any decision to expand your criminal operations in Gaza City will cost you the lives of your soldiers and captives.”
The warning coincided with the 'Israeli' army’s announcement that preparations for what it called “Operation Gideon’s Chariots II” were ongoing, with reinforcements from reserve units. 'Israeli' Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi said that ground operations in Gaza had already begun and were expanding.
Internal unrest
Meanwhile, 'Israel’s' internal front is witnessing escalating tensions, as protests against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government reached unprecedented levels.
Hebrew media reported violent riots in which demonstrators set fires near Netanyahu’s residence and torched a vehicle, highlighting growing anger and divisions within 'Israeli' society amid ongoing military decisions.
