Shin Bet: Hamas cell in Hebron tried to assassinate 'Israeli' minister
'Israel’s' Shin Bet security agency announced Wednesday that it foiled an alleged attempt to assassinate National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir after arresting a Hamas cell in the Hebron area in recent weeks.
According to the statement, interrogations revealed that the suspects had purchased several drones and planned to arm them with explosives for use in the assassination attempt. The drones were reportedly seized during the raid, which was carried out in coordination with the 'Israeli' army.

Shin Bet further claimed that the cell was operating under direct guidance from Hamas leadership based in Turkey, with plans to carry out attacks inside 'Israel'.
The agency concluded its statement by stressing that it would continue to thwart attempts by Hamas operatives to target 'Israel' and its citizens and would work to bring those involved to justice.
