'Israeli' army says missile launched from Yemen intercepted over 'Israel'

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) said Wednesday it intercepted a missile fired from Yemen toward 'Israeli' territory.

In an initial statement, the IOF reported that its aerial defense systems were activated after identifying the launch and urged the public to follow Home Front Command guidelines.

Sirens sounded in several areas in 'Israel' following the launch.

The IOF later confirmed that a missile from Yemen had been intercepted by the 'Israeli' Air Force, adding that the alarms were triggered in line with protocol.
