Macron says no 'Israeli' "offensive" or "annexation" will stop push for Palestinian state
French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday reiterated that neither military actions nor annexation attempts by 'Israel' would deter France’s efforts to support Palestinian statehood.
Macron announced that he will co-chair the Conference on the Two-State Solution in New York on September 22 alongside the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.
I just spoke with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. Together, we will co-chair the Conference on the Two-State Solution in New York on September 22.

The American decision not to grant visas to Palestinian officials is unacceptable.…
In a post he made on X, Macron criticized the American decision not to grant visas to Palestinian officials, calling it “unacceptable” and urging that it be reversed to ensure Palestinian representation in accordance with the Host Country Agreement.
Macron emphasized that the goal of the conference is to rally broad international support for the Two-State Solution, which he described as the only way to address the legitimate aspirations of both 'Israelis' and Palestinians.
He outlined several measures necessary to achieve this objective, including implementing a permanent ceasefire, releasing all hostages, delivering large-scale humanitarian aid to Gaza, and deploying a stabilization mission in the enclave.
Macron also stressed the need to ensure that Hamas is disarmed and excluded from governance in Gaza, that the Palestinian Authority is reformed and strengthened, and that the Gaza Strip is fully reconstructed.
He added that “no offensive, annexation attempt, or forced displacement of populations will derail the momentum” created with the Crown Prince, noting that many partners have already joined the effort.
Macron concluded by urging participants to make the conference a decisive turning point for peace and security in the region.
