Thirteen more deaths, including three children were recorded in Gaza over the past 24 hours as a result of “Israel’s systematic starvation,” the health ministry announced, raising the total number of hunger-related deaths to 348.

Meanwhile, 76 more martyrs and 281 others injured arrived at Gaza’s hospitals since Monday as well, while many are still under rubble as medical staff struggle to reach them.

Figures and international reports confirm that children remain the primary victims of the man-made famine as 127 had already starved to death in the enclave.

The health ministry’s use of “Israeli starvation” isn’t a mere description of the dire conditions, but holds legal and political implications accusing ‘Israel’ for using hunger as a weapon of warfare, a serious violation to international humanitarian law.

‘Israel’ continues to besiege the Gaza Strip, blocking aid and causing the famine - a situation the United Nations has confirmed as caused by ‘Israeli’ actions.

On Aug. 22, the UN’s Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) officially released a report stating that “famine is already occurring” in Gaza’s northern parts, predicting that it’s yet to spread across other areas by the end of September.
