Jordanian charities distribute bread in Gaza
Jordan expands humanitarian support domestically and in Gaza
Two Jordanian charities continue distributing daily fresh bread to thousands of displaced and hard-hit families in Southern Gaza.
The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, in cooperation with the Monasara Islamic Zakat Committee for Palestinian People, runs several bakeries and provides bread alongside other essential food and medical aid as a part of King Abdullah II’s efforts to ease the humanitarian crisis in the enclave.
“The distribution of fresh bread continues to supply a daily staple that eases the suffering of our people and gives them a sense of security amid hardship,” one organization said.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources launched a new project to support 3,115 families of Jordanian Armed Forces martyrs by installing complete solar energy systems in their homes. Each system has a production capacity of 3.6 kW, aiming to lift economic burdens and significantly reduce electricity costs.
Beneficiaries must be homeowners and submit required documentation, including land and property plans, civil IDs, and no-objection certificates from electricity providers.
These initiatives highlight Jordan’s ongoing efforts to provide relief at home and abroad, supporting both its citizens and vulnerable communities in Gaza.
