01-09-2025 20:53|The humanitarian flotilla bound for Gaza set sail again from Barcelona on Monday after being forced back by fierce Mediterranean winds, according to organisers.
The flotilla, carrying aid supplies and several hundred pro-Palestinian activists, includes high-profile passengers such as Swedish environmental campaigner Greta Thunberg.
Organisers said strong winds had prevented the ships from continuing their voyage earlier today, forcing them to return temporarily to port.
The vessels are now once more heading toward the eastern Mediterranean with the stated aim of breaking the blockade on Gaza and delivering humanitarian assistance.
