'Israeli' casualties reported in difficult incident in Gaza: Hebrew media

Hebrew media reported that 'Israeli' soldiers were ambushed in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City, resulting in a security incident described as severe and ongoing.

Reports indicated that Palestinian resistance fighters spotted the 'Israeli' forces using night-vision binoculars and lured them into a well-planned ambush. In response, the 'Israeli' army deployed additional troops to the area to handle the situation amid ongoing violent clashes.

Roya news correspondent said the security incident in Zeitoun is still ongoing, noting that Palestinian resistance fighters attempted to capture several 'Israeli' soldiers. The 'Israeli' army reportedly activated the "Hannibal procedure" to prevent the capture of its personnel.

Hebrew media also reported that the soldiers evacuated from the battlefield in Gaza sustained injuries ranging from critical to serious.
