'Israel' wants to make Gaza uninhabitable: Turkey
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan accused 'Israel' of committing what he described as “massacres” against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, warning that its actions aim to make the enclave uninhabitable and force its population to leave.
Fidan announced that Turkey has cut all economic and trade relations with 'Israel' and closed its airspace to its aircraft. He said the decision comes as part of Ankara’s broader response to what he called 'Israel’s' ongoing crimes in Gaza.
The minister accused 'Israel' of carrying out “brutal starvation policies” against Palestinians by blocking humanitarian aid, which he said has led to the deaths of thousands. He warned that 'Israel’s' goal is to “occupy all of Gaza’s territory” and undermine the two-state solution with “unlimited US support.”

He also argued that 'Israel’s' “extremist ministers and settlers” are escalating tensions through incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque, while the state itself, he said, disregards international law entirely.
“The latest developments confirm that 'Israel’s' clear goal is to occupy all Palestinian lands,” Fidan stated, adding that it also seeks to prevent the emergence of a strong Syrian state.
Fidan further cautioned that the continued tension between 'Israel' and Iran threatens regional security and stability, and accused 'Israel' of deliberately trying to drag the region into chaos.
He stressed that Turkey’s efforts continue in coordination with Qatar and Egypt to find a comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue, while criticizing the international system for failing to stop what he called “'Israeli' massacres.”
