Abu Obaida issues statement on 'Israel’s' Gaza occupying plans

Qassam Brigades’ spokesperson Abu Obaida, the spokesman for the armed wing of Hamas, warned on Tuesday that Israel’s plans to occupy Gaza will have severe consequences for its leadership and military.

In a statement posted on his Telegram channel, Abu Obaida said: “The enemy’s criminal plans to occupy Gaza will backfire on its political and military leadership. Its army will pay the price with the blood of its soldiers, and the chances of capturing new soldiers will increase, God willing.”

He added: “Our fighters are on alert, in high spirits, and ready to present remarkable examples of heroism and resilience. They will teach the invaders harsh lessons, with God’s help.”

Abu Obaida also criticized 'Israeli' leadership, saying: “War criminal Netanyahu and his Nazi ministers have decisively planned to reduce the number of living enemy captives by half, and for most of their dead captives’ bodies to disappear forever. The enemy army and its terrorist government will bear full responsibility for this.”

He reassured that Hamas would protect their captives as much as possible: “We will maintain the enemy captives to the best of our ability. They will remain with our fighters in combat and confrontation under the same risky and harsh living conditions. We will announce the name, image, and proof of death of any captive killed as a result of the aggression.”
