The Gaza Ministry of Health announced on Thursday that 71 Palestinians have been killed and 339 injured in the past 24 hours amid the ongoing ‘Israeli’ aggression on the strip.

The ministry's report brings the total number of casualties since Oct. 7, 2023, to 62,966 killed and 159,266 injured.

The report also noted that the humanitarian crisis continues to worsen, with more "martyrs for a livelihood", referring to Gazans killed while seeking aid, in addition to victims of famine.

Casualties from Hunger and Aid

The daily report from the Ministry of Health revealed that hospitals recorded four new deaths from starvation and malnutrition in the past day, including two children. This raises the total number of deaths from hunger to 317, including 121 children.

In a separate tragedy, the number of "martyrs for a livelihood", those killed while trying to obtain aid, reached 22 dead and 203 injured in the past day alone.

The ministry said the total number of victims from these incidents has now climbed to 2,180 killed and more than 16,046 injured.

Ongoing Humanitarian Crisis

The ministry stressed that these figures only account for those who have reached hospitals, noting that many victims remain under rubble and on roads that ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to access.

The report also showed that the death toll since March 18, 2025, when 'Israel' broke the ceasefire, has reached 10,900 killed and 46,218 injured.
