'Israeli' Chief of Staff: ‘No place in West Bank out of reach’

'Israeli' military announced Friday that its Chief of Staff paid a visit to the city of Tulkarm, where he toured the area and held a security assessment meeting with senior field commanders.

During the visit, the army chief delivered remarks underscoring the freedom of operations the military maintains across the occupied West Bank.

He was quoted as saying: “There is no place in the West Bank today that we cannot reach.”

The statement is widely interpreted as a reaffirmation of the army’s policy to operate in any Palestinian area, including those classified as “Area A”; territories that, under agreements, are meant to remain under full Palestinian security control.
