Jordan International Food Festival sends third relief convoy to Gaza

The Jordan International Food Festival, in cooperation with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), on Saturday launched its third relief convoy to the Gaza Strip, carrying 100 tons of food and medical supplies out of a total of 300 tons to be sent as part of Jordan’s ongoing efforts to support the people in the Strip.

The convoy, consisting of five relief trucks, departed from the festival’s gate in Amman with the participation of representatives from the festival, JHCO, and several supporting entities.

This initiative reflects the festival’s commitment to its social and humanitarian role, in addition to its contribution to empowering Jordanian youth through pioneering initiatives in the food sector and productive kitchens. The festival showcases numerous startups and youth-led initiatives that highlight the richness and diversity of Jordanian cuisine, offering platforms for marketing, production, and entrepreneurship.

By combining the celebration of local culture with providing much-needed humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza, the festival demonstrates its dedication to both community enrichment and humanitarian solidarity.
