VIDEO: Jordan International Food Festival sends new aid convoy to Gaza
In a humanitarian gesture of solidarity with the people of Gaza, the Jordan International Food Festival in Amman has transformed into a platform for relief efforts, as aid convoys continue to depart from its grounds toward the besieged strip.
On Wednesday, five trucks loaded with essential food and medical supplies were dispatched as part of the second phase of the national campaign to support Gaza.
The initiative is being carried out in close coordination with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization and with contributions from companies and institutions participating in the festival.

This effort comes at a time when Palestinians in Gaza are facing severe hunger and starvation due to 'Israeli' blockade restricting access to basic necessities.
Organizers said the campaign aims to confront the systematic starvation policies imposed on the population and to send a clear message of solidarity from the Jordanian people.
The organizers added that Wednesday’s shipment is part of a broader convoy expected to deliver a total of 300 tons of aid, which will be sent in three consecutive batches during the festival to ensure consistent delivery to those in need in Gaza.
